Our Network Performance Manager, Laura Burnet, together with a number of her gym colleagues from Body Evolution have recently taken on and completed the epic challenge of walking from the gym in Marsh, Huddersfield to sunny Blackpool in 23 Hours, without any breaks. That's a staggering 100 kilometers.
The event was in support of "Andy's Man Club" who focus on raising awareness of male suicide and providing essential support to those in need.
"The challenge was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It took every ounce of energy out of me. It was both mentally and physically challenging but remembering we were doing this in aid of Andys Man Club gave me the willpower to continue knowing that it wasn’t anything compared to what people may be suffering with in regard to their own mental struggles"
