We're proud to announce the acquisition of AGB Risk Control Services Ltd
GHG Claim and Risk Solutions (GHG Solutions Ltd.) is proud to announce the acquisition of AGB Risk Control Services Ltd, a specialist provider of risk surveying services. With presence in London, Manchester and Cheltenham, the business provides flexible outsource solutions for property & liability surveys and risk control services for the insurance industry.
Complementing GHG’s own risk surveying business, BASE UK Ltd., the addition of Andrew Burke(Managing Director) and AGB’s management team’s expertise will provide a robust and scalable platform for greater capacity, greater geographical coverage and a wider range of services into a market that has recently experienced increased demand and reduced capacity. With both company’s continued drive and commitment to provide the very best levels of service, we believe this will resonate across the market driving service improvements.
GHG’s Managing Director Austin Snelgrove commented,
"As our first acquisition, this marks a real milestone in the progression of GHG over the last few years. I am delighted to welcome Andy into the senior management team at GHG and I am really excited to work with him and his team."
AGB are focused on the quality of their risk surveying reports and service delivery, which is not only a fantastic strategic fit, but also supplements our coverage and expertise in this area and will also allow the development of new products and services. Our approach to recruiting and retaining quality surveyors, development of our graduate programme and significant investment in our IT systems will allow both companies to build the capacity that we believe the market requires
Andrew Burke, the majority shareholder and Managing Director of AGB added;
"there has been a lack of investment in risk surveying by our industry over an extended period, joining GHG Solutions provides a significant opportunity for the business to grow, develop and enhance its risk surveying offering to meet the changing requirements and demands of underwriters in an evolving marketplace."
GHG would like to thank YFM for their continued support and advice. We would also like to thank Sarah Souter and Laurel Knight at Gateleys, for their support and continued expertise during this transaction.
